I changed my google sheets (attached) but WpDataTables isn't recognizing the new format and structure. Now, my table has an extra column which I can't delete. (attached)
When I try to preview, the loading thing spins forever which I've found something is broken.
Add to this, my page is now broken with an error.(attached)
Can you please send me that file so I can take a look if you still have that issue.
Also please note that There is a cache on Google side, so when you update the table it might take up to 5-15 minutes to be reflected in wpDataTable so maybe that was an issue when you changed the spreadsheet, because of the cache.
I create a table without any problems with your spreadsheet as you can see in attachment. As you can see that there is no extra 3rd column in the table settings.
Can you please remove all of the formatting from the spreadsheet and try to recreate a table.
Very strange. Usually the issue can be when the user change the Spreadsheet and the third columns appears after the first 2, not in between first and second one like in your case but that only happens when the user does not populate the spreadsheet in the right format.
Maybe the issue was in the Google cache, because if you just changed the second column there are is no explanation why the third column appeared between first two columns.
This is driving me crazy!

I don't know how to fix this.
I just did a test.
I created another table using the same google sheet.
This time, only 2 columns and the extra column was gone!
There is a bug in the plugin. Pls fix this as this is not acceptable workaround to the problem.

yes, but like I said, I was also able to create a new table with no problems.
The issue is that the old table doesn't work. and it seems the only solution to the problem is to create a new table.
This is not optimal solution.
Hi napkinfinance,
Did you have that third column when you created that table for the first time.
Best regards.
