Can you please tell me which version of our plugin do you use? If it is 1.7.2 you should not have any problems to work with charts which have no internet connection.
Goggle charts have issues on their side in previous versions when there is no internet access , we resolve that in our latest version, so my suggestion will be, if it is possible to update the plugin.
For highcharts in 1.7 version I think that there are no major issues when working offline.
because the server computer does not have internet connection I cannot use the wordpress plugin update feature. I can connect to the server using windows RDP. Is there a possibility to update the plugin offline?

Hi Timo,
It should not be a problem but you will need to download the latest version from Envato.
You can download zip from this link
Then please follow this steps carefully after you download the file
1.) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins
2.) Delete existing wpdatatables folder.
3.) Upload previously downloaded wpdatatables folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)
4.) Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section.
5.) Deactivate wpDataTables, and then activate it again.
