We used to have the lite version, but after switching our website to a new hosting account, the tables stopped working and the events page completely wouldn't load if I had that code in the page. I removed the table from the page and the page begin loading just fine. So I completely removed the plugin and bought the full version. I installed it. When trying to create a table, it just says "ERROR!"
Hi Bogdan! I'm not sure why I never received this reply, haha, but I was wondering why it was taking so long! My apologies on the late response.
But yes, I did do those steps exactly.
The problem started before purchasing it though and just has continued since. But I have completely removed it all, and started over, but still getting the same message.
I have a feeling it has something to do with having permissions to "write" to the website folders if that makes since. Not sure though.
But basically I had moved my wordpress website from one GoDaddy account, to another GoDaddy account and had to relink all the databases.
Can you please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
When I try to save your Excel file from your library I can see this error: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)
The 500 Internal Server Error is a server-side error, meaning the problem probably isn't with your computer, internet connection or plugins but instead is a problem with the web site's server.
Can you please investigate your server log and see if there is some errors.

So before I moved the website to a new hosting provider, the original home folder was JTALLEY but now it should be DSMFIRSTCOMM.
What is causing it to try and look up the file there? Is it trying to upload the file there or read it from there?
It tells whether a file exists and is that file readable. The issue is definitely with that path because I was able to upload your file on my side. ( attachment)

Hi jonathantalley,
Thank you for your purchase.
Can you please tell me did you follow this steps when updating the plugin to a full version:
1.) Download zip from this link
2.) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins
3.) Delete existing wpdatatables folder.
4.) Upload previously downloaded wpdatatables folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)
5.) Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section.
6.) Deactivate wpDataTables, and then activate it again.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

How were you able to upload it?
So if I upload the file manually, instead of using the upload tool within the plugin, how do I select that file?
I uploaded the file.
http://desmoinesfirst.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/UpcomingEvents.xlsx
When trying to put that URL in the file URL area, it comes back with the file does not exist. If you go to that URL it does download.
Hi jonathantalley,
It looks like there is some kind of permissions problem,
Can you please check permission on that directory where the file is uploaded.
Thank you.
