    I need to fetch a a whole datatable with changing content from an api, the content is fetched based on some input. Mysql is not an option as the query is fixed in mysql.  The API enpoint will send whole tables so how to render it as datatable?

    You can take a look at actions and filters that you can hook on this links - Filters - Actions.

    Maybe something like this is what you need:

    wpdatatables_filter_rendered_table( $table_content, $table_id )

    This filter is applied to the rendered table HTML. $table ID is the table identifier from the database.
