    Good morning

I know I can set Date format, Number format, Decimal places and everything else in the plugin settings, but I need special formats on a single table due to a export to csv.

I think, these settings should be in the table and not of all plugin. :(

Is there a way to format the table fields differently from all the rest?

    Thank you

    Hi Axelmet,
    Thank you for the purchase.

Unfortunately not in the current version of the plugin.

For version 2.0 we will add decimal places per column settings, but date and number format will be defined on wpDataTables settings page as in the current version.

thanks Milos , as always fast and accurate.

Trying to solve my problem I found it another ...
My goal now is to format numbers and dates directly into the excel file and then save it in csv format.

The problem is that when I export to excel, all float fields and date fields are converted to text and then formatting is not automatically applied (I can not ask users to manually change the formats in excel). See attached pic
You may try this on your page https://wpdatatables.com/documentation/column-features/float-columns/

I also tried to use Report Builder, using the pre-formatted templates, but the float fields and date fields are always TEXT!

Note that the database fields are decimal (10.2) and that the Integer fields instead, are perfectly recognized.

    Hi Axelmet,

This issue is not related with wpDataTables. This is how File Export feature works in datatables library that we are using as main library for rendering tables and unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this.
