When I copy and paste my Excel data into the Excel editor it receives it and appears to write 2 decimal places worth of data. After I close and look at the chart, the decimals have been lost and all appear as 4.00, 5.00, etc. When I re-open the Excel-like editor I find that all the data has been modified to only whole numbers with 2 decimal places as 0s. I have the columns set to Float and the decimals in the settings set to 2. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi biker2000on,
Thank you for your purchase.
Can you please check in your database does the column type for that column is set to FLOAT.
Also can you tell me which number is on wpdatatables settings page in Decimal places field.
Thank you.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Yes it is set to FLOAT and Decimal places is set to 2. This is why I am confused. It seems like broken code that is forcing a FLOAT value to a whole number value and then leaving the 2 decimal places.
Hi biker2000on,
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Also point me to the table ID so I can take a look.
Thank you.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

I "fixed" this issue by just uploading a non-editable Excel file for the data.
Thanks.
Hi biker2000on,
We are glad that you have fixed the issue. If you have any more questions don't hesitate to open a new ticket. Thanks.
