I'm trying to install the plugin for a WordPress site hosted on GoDaddy, WP Version 4.7.2. The plugin installs fine, but when I try to active it gives an error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ')' in /home/content/r/u/n/rungmaa/html/home/wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/source/class.constructor.php on line 1497

Hi jstantongeddes,
Thank you for your purchase.
Minimum PHP version that you have to have installed on your server is 5.4.
Please update your PHP version and see if it is working.
Kind Regards,

Thanks for the quick response. The GoDaddy server is in fact still running on ancient PHP 5.2.
