About file: The file was not properly created. In this documentationyou can find how to create URL link columns. Also I am sending you a file with an example. Try to upload this file and change the Logo column to be URL column type just to see how this works.
About number column: Unfortunately this feature requires some code customization and it is not possible with the build in functionalities.
Sorry to hear your frustration. We do have the point you mentioned in mind, regarding importing the links directly from the Excel file, however this doesn't mean that Excel data importing is not working. We do support URL links in our format, and our documentation shows how to use it; this format is shared between all input formats - MySQL, CSV, Google Spreadsheets, JSON, XML, and Excel is just one in a row.
As for the other point: sorry about that, but this really isn't up to us - some of the phone (and desktop) browsers do pick up mobile phone links, some don't, our plugin just renders the data which is contained in the input data source.
The responsive feature works as described in the documentation, which means that some of the columns can hide in a collapsible/expandable block when displayed on mobiles or tablet devices. If this doesn't work for you please follow the documentation.
Let us know if we may help you with anything else,
I am importing into an editable table an XLSX file contains our data.
I have a website hyperlink inserted into the business name in the xclsx file.
The Business Name Column Type is defined as URL Link.
Problem: The xlsx link does not get loaded into the table - just the business name text.
How do we get this to transfer correctly?
Hi Joe,
Thank you for your purchase.
Can you please send me that file so I can take a look.
Thank you.

We also have a phone number column in this table that needs to dial the number when tapped.
Is there a way to make this responsive function operate?

Yes I found "YOUR SPECIAL FORMATTING FOR A LINK REQUIREMENT" after much digging through your documentation.
This means your claim of excel data importation is FALSE.
Your table "ALSO WILL NOT DIAL A PHONE NUMBER ON MOBILE"
THIS MAKES YOUR CLAIM OF RESPONSIVE DESIGN ALSO FALSE.
What a waste of time and money trying to use your poorly programed plugin!
