List value being lost when I edit the record

In my grid, I have a text list single-selection element (titled “Ages”).

It is a MySQL query table with both Inline and dialog editing allowed.

Part 1 - When any value in the row is changed using inline editing, the value of the “Ages” element is reset to the first item in the list. This includes trying to edit that “Ages” element itself.

Part 2 -  I also have dialog editing enabled. When editing via the dialog, the dialog initialization resets the value of “Ages” to the first item in the list rather than the record's current value. If I change the “Ages” value while editing, the new value is properly saved.

I see another closed issue that this seems the same or similar to this:  #933294 - Edits with Single-Value dropdown overwrites to 1st value in the list.

If useful, I can provide access to our test website to observe the issue.

    TIA.

    Hi Corky,
    Thank you for the purchase.

Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE so nobody can see it except us.

    Hi Corky,

This issue is fixed and it should be working now. Can you please try? Just before you try please clear the cache for that page.

    Yes, it is working. Great!

Is there something I can do fix this same thing on our production site?

    Hi Corky,

Yes you can copy this file ../wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/assets/js/selecter/jquery.fs.selecter.min.js from your test site and replace it with same file on your production site.

It works. I copied the indicated file to our production site, and it works fine now.

Thanks for your prompt and very helpful response!!!
