I've noticed that single value edits (inline editing) in standard view for a list of predefined options doesn't seem to work correctly. The problem I'm having is similar to ticket 933294. It does work properly using the excel front end. https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com/ticket/933294/
In standard view, if I add a single line value edit for a list of locations as an example, No matter what i select it always updates the first option only. Is this a know bug?. I'm in chrome, wpdatatables version 1.7.1 and this is for a table created in wpdatatable. No external DB or anything like that.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
It's a bug with the version of the Selecter, A jQuery plugin for replacing default select elements. Part of the Formstone Library and that is causing the issue. So I will need to give you the old stable version. Thank you.
Thanks Bogdan. As you may remember from previous tickets I unfortunately cant provide login access since we are using it on an internal intranet. For now I can just use standard edit with the popover and wait for updated versions.
That did the trick Bogdan thank you. I see that its the jquery plugin. Are you guys using the older backward compatible version of jquery or the most current version 3.1.1. I wonder if using thje migrate plugin would make the new version work? Anyway its fixed using the old version.
We are using the same version of jquery that WP is using. We will surely investigate what may course the issue with the new version but for now we are sticking with the old stable version.
It was not the problem in plugin version. The issue is in the jQuery plugin for replacing default select elements. But I will solve it in your open ticket. Thank you for understanding.

Hi issacchua,
It was not the problem in plugin version.
