It is not impossible, just that we do not have a ‘delete all’ button built in for now. However workarounds are possible:
1) If your table was created using the Table Constructor, you can use the Excel-like editor (link: http://wpdatatables.com/documentation/front-end-editing/excel-like-editor/ ) which gives you the possibility to select and delete several lines at once, or all lines. Just click&drag to select multiple lines, then right-click and choose “Delete”.
2) If the table is created outside of the plugin, 2 solutions are possible: * You can use the Truncate function in phpMyAdmin if you need to clear the table, * You can also use the Excel-like editor, but in front-end. There is an attribute table_view=excel that you can add to the short code, or just use the ‘wpDataTables’ button in the visual editor, it has a drop down to choose the excel-layout for the table.
The mysql table has been created by me. The problem is that I need to create a button under your table to do the total deletion. Can I use some filter or action?
Sorry I don´t understand your explanation and not find attribute "table_view" this part of your response.

If you would like to have a ‘delete all’ button, it would need to be developed customly. There is no built-in clear all function for front-end (and it is not announced anywhere in our documentation), so you would need to: * Implement an AJAX action that would clear the table that you need (call ‘DELETE FROM your_table’ on the table) with prior check if user has rights to do so, * Implement a javascript handler that would call the delete AJAX action and refresh the table.
It would require some custom JS and PHP code, but if is not very complicated if you do have experience with coding, perhaps 2 hours of work.
About Excel like editor in front-end please take a look at the attachment files that I send you where you can see how you can use 'wpDataTables' button to select table_view=excel.
True, some of that functions will not be available. Please take a look at this documentation where you can find difference between Standard wpDatatables and Excel-like tables.
For not spending 2 hours of my time (worth more than plugin) I thought I could use some filter or action to trigger my code to delete the data from the table.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Also send me the FTP account. So we can take a look and give you our suggestion. Thank you.
We tried again to log in and prepare the script for you, but unfortunately we cannot find the pages, neither log in to WP admin. WP admin throws "invalid login attempt" error, and link page "Registros de Búsquedas" does not exist anywhere where we searched. We tried adding the new IP to hosts file, and without it.
Can you please provide exactly the following information:
Direct URL of the page with the table, where you want the "delete all" button,
Working WP-Admin link, working login and password.
Working FTP account with write permissions for this WP installation.
Exact instructions we need to follow to log in to WP admin (if we need to change hosts file or something).
Sorry, but without that we keep investing time without being able to help you. Please double check you provide all of the above information and that all logins and addresses are correct, otherwise we cannot do anything.

Hi Fernando,
Sorry to disappoint you but unfortunately we do not have that functionality at this moment.

Ok!
But, How can i do it?
Filters, code in functions.php or what?
If I can not do it in any way I'm not interested in the plugin and I want my money back!!

I see.
For not spending 2 hours of my time (worth more than plugin) I thought I could use some filter or action to trigger my code to delete the data from the table.
Option 1
Filter wpdatatables_filter_excel_array( $parsed_array, $table_id, $file_path )
Can I excute my code before the excel file is saved?
function.php like:
Global $wpdp;
"$wpdb->delete( 'wpt3_noresults',..." after the exportation
Option 2
add_action (wpdatatables_before_delete_row( $row_id, $table_id ),myfunction,10,2)
or
adde_action (wpdatatables_before_delete_file ( $row_id, $table_id ),myfunction,10,2)
function myfunction(){
Global $wpdp;
If ...
"$wpdb->delete( 'wpt3_noresults',..." after the exportation
}
I think the second option can serve. I would appreciate if you could give me a hand.
So you can have a suggestion for the case in your documentation.
Thank you
