I have column that contains a lot of text. It looks terrible as a non fixed width / wrapped text. However I also have too many columns to have table not scrollable horizontally.
Surely this is a common issue? Is there no way to have both?

You can enable word wrap by adding this CSS code either in Custom Css field on Settings page of our plugin to enable it for all tables or on page surrounded with <style> tag for specific one:
table.wpDataTable td, table.wpDataTable th { white-space: normal !important; }Scroll function is based on table auto width. Having table with fixed width and scrollable would require rewriting that functionality.
