Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Dear Milos,

      I have reported a few issues but there is no solutions till now, please provide when these problem will be resolve.

      1. The 1st table 1st row (title row) and the search row will be different for the 2nd table onwards. The version 6, it is running fine but after updating to higher version, there will be this problem.

      2. The chart, older version, there is a time selection bar to control which time region I want to see but newer updates (after version 6) remove this function.

      3. The 1 and 4hr charting, when your developer able resolve? Currently, I can only plot daily chart. Any dates to resolve this problem?

      4. I need to know where to find newest plugins and old plugins download pages.

    Best regards,

    Hi Joshua,

    Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

    I am checking with our QA Team and our Developers about each of these points.

     1. The 1st table 1st row (title row) and the search row will be different for the 2nd table onwards. The version 6, it is running fine but after updating to higher version, there will be this problem.

    Yes, we discussed this on the ticket 3601537.

    Right now, we still have not solved that bug, the developers are working on it.

    I will do my best to push the priority on it, but we still can't say an exact ETA when it will be fixed.

    When we fix it, we will write a patch note about the fix on our ChangeLog Page.

    You can also see it on your Dashboard in the back-end of the Plugin.

    So during updates, please check and you will see which fixes we added and the ones which are not noted, they are still being worked on.

    -

    But as we wrote on that ticket, would it be possible for you to just set all the Tables which are on the same Page to either have server-side option enabled on all tables or disabled on all tables?

    9390962537.png

    If you use Gravity Form integrated tables, they also have the server-side option toggle;

    so let me know if it would be possible to just set all the tables on same WP Page to either be 'all enabled' or 'all disabled' on the server-side option, as a temporary workaround?

    -

    Or, with the latest 6.3.1 wpDataTables Version, if you switch from using Filters in the Header;

    you can enable them to show above the Table as "form" from the Filtering options and this can fix it as well.

      2. The chart, older version, there is a time selection bar to control which time region I want to see but newer updates (after version 6) remove this function.

    We wrote about this on the ticket 3601537/ and you did not respond to my last question there.

    Can you please check this, in the Main Plugin settings, do you see the "Chart" tab, and can you find this option : Use stable HighChart version?

    1152243931.png

    Please disable that option, then refresh your Page and let me know if that solves the issue?

    I sent you the solution there, but I can see you rerolled to an older version in the meantime.

    If you still can't solve that issue, we can remote in to your Site and check it.

    The best will be if you can make a Staging Website for us to troubleshoot the issue; but install the latest 6.3.1 wpDataTables there.

    Then, provide me the Staging URL, the Page where you placed the Chart, and the WP-admin (administrator) user for your website where this happens;

    as well as FTP credentials;

    so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

    We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

    You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

     3. The 1 and 4hr charting, when your developer able resolve? Currently, I can only plot daily chart. Any dates to resolve this problem?

    I found the ticket 3575033 where we discussed about this, I am just marking it here to make it easier to show for our QA Team.

    I am checking if this is resolved with our QA and the developers - going to advise you if it is solved or if we can provide any ETA.

      4. I need to know where to find the newest plugins and old plugins download pages.

    On your TMS Store, you will always only find the latest version to download.

    We don't provide our users with the possibility to download older versions, that is our company policy at the moment, to always maintain the latest version.

    But we can understand for a specific issue, it might be needed to get an older version - so you can always ask us on a ticket and we can send several older versions in a PRIVATE reply.

    Dear Milos,

      Thanks for your reply and updates. I am using the version 6.3.1 now but I am wondering the wpdatatable vs wpdatatable dev version are they the same?

      1. I have been using wpdatatable for 2-3years and I don't have this row 1 and row 2 swapped problem for the 2nd tables onwards.... And the setting are all enable. See the attached screenshot. I am not using Gravity Form.

      Or, with the latest 6.3.1 wpDataTables Version, if you switch from using Filters in the Header;

    you can enable them to show above the Table as "form" from the Filtering options and this can fix it as well.

    I don't like this options enable : I want to search row at 2nd row. nice and easy to use. Cannot attached more files, I will write another reply for other items.

    For items 2 : at version 6.3.1, disable "Use Stable version" and the chart time region is back. This issue resolved. Thanks.

    I need items 3 to be fix. I need to show 1 and 4hrs data using charts. Any older version of wpdatatable able to display 1and 4 hrs charts in the past?

    For item 4, after downloading the new plugins, there are no version number. Also the wpdatatable vs wpdatatable dev, any different? If I goto store.tms.plugins.com and download, will it be wpdatatable dev version? It seems that only using the email link, then I can download the wpdatatable dev version.

    Not sure why the "max" will always change to admin by itself. (After i updates, i don't know what i do but the max will change to admin after a few months) Must always goto the setting page to change, I have delete this "admin" at the max location so many times......

    Best regards,

    Hi Joshua,

    I am happy to report, we fixed some of the major bugs in the latest version 6.3.1.

    Our QA team confirmed this for me, they did some tests.

    1. Major issue of not being able to see the Zoom on Front-end :

    Our developers are still fixing why it does not  load the "zoom element" on front end with our 'Use stable HighChart version' option;

    but for the time being, you can just disable that option and it will work :

    6971228328.png

    2. We fixed the bug for multiple "Times" on the same day, they are now showing in the Stock Charts.

    3913602645.png

    Please download my Video as a demonstration how that is fixed.

    3. after downloading the new plugins, there are no version number. Also the wpdatatable vs wpdatatable dev, any different? If I goto store.tms.plugins.com and download, will it be wpdatatable dev version? It seems that only using the email link, then I can download the wpdatatable dev version.

    Yes. There will be no version number on the installation file itself.

    When you download your installation file on the TMS Store, there it will always be only the latest version.

    You can check what is the latest version always on the ChangeLog - or when you install it, you can check it, too;

    You can check which version is installed in the "System info" tab of our Plugin's back-end Dashboard;

    or in your list of Plugins, there you can also check it there.

    Since you got the developer level licence - for you in the TMS Store, it will always be available as the developer installation.

    The developer installation level will always have all the features/functionalities available.

    This is an automated system in the Store, for each user, they will see their installation version, depending on which licence they have.

    So any user who has a Basic licence - they get the Basic wpDataTables installation;

    for Pro Users, they only get the Pro installation, either from Email link or the Store;

    same goes for Dev, of course, you will always get the full Dev version when you download either from the Store or Email link.

    4. The 'max' always showing your "admin".

    Basically, if you use any 'password manager' directly in your Browser, like for Google Chrome, it has the 'saved passwords'.

    This saves the username and password as the browser's cookie information.

    That is a security issue, and for the time being, in our Plugin, in the Max function label - it is always going to pull your Admin username there as the "max function label".

    Here is a screenshot from my LocalHost Site, where 'root' is the Admin username.

    5011511995.png

    Our developers will do their best to try and somehow improve this - but that is basically, not an issue coming from our Plugin itself - it is rather how the WordPress handles these passwords for that specific functionality;

    A solution is to use something like the "BitWarden", which we use for storing credentials ( username and passwords information).

    So if you switch to something like BitWarden, then remove any passwords and username you got saved in your Browser's cookie like "password manager' or similar;

    and then it will stop showing there as the Admin username in your "Max function label" by default.

    I will still double-check about all this with our QA Team and the developers, if we make any progress, we will report back to let you know as soon as possible, but for the time being, that is the only secure way.

    5.

    The 1st table 1st row (title row) and the search row will be different for the 2nd table onwards. The version 6, it is running fine but after updating to higher version, there will be this problem.

    Yes, we discussed this on the ticket 3601537.

    -

    For this one, our developers are intensively working to fix it - but we still don't have a working fix.

    So for that bug, we will have to wait more, can't say an exact ETA, but you can follow the ChangeLog - and we will write a Note about it when it's finished.

    Let me know if we missed any points so far.

    Thank you.
